Samford, QLD, 4520
In the lea of a picturesque ridge lies this well-maintained bowls club.
The location is situated within the district’s sporting precinct and is only a 5-minute drive from the nearest village. At the entrance to the club is a grass patch parking area that can accommodate up to approximately 15 vehicles. Overflow parking is available 100m away, however, please note that this is managed by the council.
Entering the main building, you are presented with a large dining/function area with parquetry flooring, providing flexible layouts for both dining scenes and dance/open areas.
To the left of the main entrance, is a functioning kitchen with stainless steel appliances and benchtops, and two service windows - one each, inside and out.
To the right of the main entrance is a fully-serviced bar, which is available for use upon request.
The main drawcard to this location is found outside. Two match-quality carpeted bowling greens, each approximately 40m², are situated between the main building and main road. The greens feature retractable shade cloths and are immaculately well maintained.
The surrounding area can become noisy at times, with a pedestrian walkway at the front of the property, and weekend traffic is busy with motorcycles taking day trips to nearby lookouts. The gardens and hedges around the property are maintained by the council, and trimmings take place on Wednesdays.
