Warwick, QLD, 4370
First purposed as a Roman Catholic convent in the late 1800s, this heritage-listed property is stunning – inside and out. Now an operational hotel, the property is a two-storeyed sandstone building with an east-west entrance bay, with transverse wings extending to the south.
On the lower level, the chapel comfortably fits up to 80 and features gorgeous stained-glass windows and a grand piano to the rear of the space. Also on the ground floor, you will find the common living areas of the dining room, sitting room, and the large rectangular ballroom.
Heading up one of the many staircases here, you will find several of the 14 bedrooms, each with its own unique stylings and décor. Two of these rooms typically serve as premium bridal suites by day, but by night, they could easily serve as the perfect setting for your next production.
Outside, the grounds are immaculately kept and feature a grand circle driveway – perfect for those shots of a vehicle dramatically arriving at the front door. To the right of the front façade, you will find a hidden gazebo and tennis court.
A note for productions: This is a heritage-listed property. Any property damage caused during the booking period will be charged to the production.
